NVA is NOT disbanding

In The Daily Mail newspaper of today, Saturday 20th June 2009, it states that The Normandy Veterans Association is disbanding. This was never said.
In my interview, I clearly stated that the Parade & Service in Whitehall would be our last. I also stated that commemorations will continue by groups of Veterans in the future for as long as they are physically able to do so. The significant events of Whitehall and York Minster would cease after 2009.
I feel sure that this misreporting may cause confusion.
While I am grateful for the publicity for our final parade in Whitehall, I am greatly dismayed that the mention of disbandment of the NVA was added to the report.
