My father, a Normandy Veteran, Graham Roe, passed away on 1.6.09.
He was a Sheffield Hallamshire and landed in Normandy on D Day + 3, 9th June 1944.
His funeral is 9th June 2009.
My thoughts are with all those veterans who will be able to remember at this year's finale celebrations.
